In my experience with Dr. Jacobs we were able to determine that I was not absorbing iron efficiently. This was an answer to my symptoms of generally never feeling rested or energetic. Dr. Jacobs reviewed my routine blood work reports and ordered a further test to explain my low/normal readings which my Internist had dismissed as “normal”. Dr. Jacobs then prescribed a multi vitamin with iron that also contained digestive enzymes to improve the iron absorption. As a result my energy level has improved.
